MISSION STATEMENT
The Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance is dedicated to finding a cure for tuberous sclerosis while improving the lives of those affected.
The intertwining arcs represent an abstract of the double helix or the structure of DNA. The spiral also shows that the TS Alliance’s commitment to family and patient support, education and research are interdependent.
The lower arc signifies shelter and a place for people to congregate. It symbolizes the bridge from where we've been to where we want to go. It's structure reassures us that it will always be here, for as long as we need it. The upper arc shows arms reaching out to people, to knowledge and to progress.

Join us for our 2nd annual Bowling Tournament which benefits the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance on April 18, 2010 at the Baden Bowl. Sign-in time is 12:30 pm and starting time is 1:00 pm. Team entries should include 4 persons per team. Cost is $20.00 per person which includes lunch, a shirt, and door prizes. Lane sponsorships are $50.00 each. TSC Alliance Step Forward for a Cure Saturday, June 26, 2010 Brady's Run Park, Brady's Run Lodge Registration 1:00 PM Walk begins 2:00 PM Join us on Saturday, June 26, 2010 for a walkathon followed by a post-event celebration. Step Forward to Cure TSC is a national fundraising effort organized locally by the Western Pennsylvania area volunteers and families affected by tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). The Step Forward walkathon provides an opportunity to create awareness of TSC and raise funds for community support programs and research to find a cure. Over the past three years, the Western Pennsylvania walkathon has raised more than $60,000 with an average of 100 participants each year. These funds have allowed the TS Alliance to help researchers make some amazing strides in finding ways to slow the growth of TSC-related tumors. But it is only the beginning. More needs to be done, and we need your help to find a cure. The 4th Annual Western Pennsylvania walkathon offers a wonderful occasion for businesses and their employees to join together outside of the workplace with their families, co-workers, friends and clients to make a difference in their local community.

Joshua Shoup would like to thank all who helped to make my walk on June 26 a success. We collected almost $13,000! We had over 200 people, the weather was beautiful and we had lots of fun. Thanks again for the support.
