Our Youth Group events are coordinated by members of our Youth Board. This includes: Dennis Whalen, Don Ayers, Sam Goncz,  Heidi Hartge, Jan Reese, Julie Slingluff, Megan Slingluff, Liz Shuttleworth and our Pastor. Our Youth Group here at Rehoboth consists of our youth in grades 6 through 12. We typically have Youth Group meetings once a month which is scheduled to be the last Sunday of each month from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. Various Youth Group events are planned by members of our Youth Board. Some examples include: ice skating at Brady's Run, a Christian concert by recording artist Shawn Smith, and a Halloween haunted hayride. Other events include Christian themed discussions and service related projects.

Our goal is to bond our youth together and provide a secure place for them to discuss their faith. For any questions about Youth Group events, contact any Youth Board member.

Treats in a Jar

Can you imagine that the Christmas season is right around the corner? Not sure what to give your mailman, teacher, or secretary for Christmas? The Youth Group has come to your rescue. The Youth will be selling "Treats in a Jar" for the holiday season. Our treat mixes will include: Chocolate/Chocolate Chip Brownies; Gingerbreak Cookies; Soup; and Hot Cocoa. Look for more updates in next month's newsletter and bulletins.

Apparel Design Contest

The Youth Group will be hosting a fundraising contest.  The contest will be open for two weeks.  The congregation is asked to come up with a design, phrase, verse, quote, or a combination that represents Rehoboth and can be printed or embroidered onto clothing.  All designs need to be submitted in a sealed envelope with your name on the envelope, not the design paper and dropped in the labeled box in the narthex.  This contest is for all ages.  The contest will run through October 15.  Once all ideas are submitted they will be posted after church and the congregation will be able to vote on a winning design.  After the winning design is selected it will be printed on clothing apparel like t-shirts, polo’s, hoodies, and sweatshirts and will be available for purchase.  The proceeds will go to the Youth Group and all orders will be delivered in time for Christmas presents!  The person with the winning idea will get a free item of their choice!  Good luck designing!!!  If anyone has any questions, please contact Julie Slingluff at (724) 728-1269 or Megan Slingluff at (724) 601-9334.
