Ushers

Ushers are a group of people that you see every Sunday. They start by handing out bulletins to worshippers as they enter the sanctuary. They assist new visitors in getting settled and answering any questions they have. They also take are of passing the offering plates through the pews during the offering. On communion Sundays, they also bring forth the bread and wine to the alter to be consecrated by the pastor. They also direct the people going up to the altar for communion and assist anyone who needs help going up or down the stairs that lead to the altar. If you are unable to navigate steps and wish to receive communion, just let any of our ushers know, and they will let the pastor and assistant know that you would like communion brought to you at your pew.
