![]() | It’s with great pleasure and much anticipation that we introduce Rehoboth’s Rejoicing Rascals upcoming 8th musical slated for the 2007-2008 school year. This year’s selection is sure to be yet another crowd-pleaser entitled, Captain Noah and the Zoo Cruise for Twos, under the direction of Mrs. Heather Goncz and assisted by Lori Shoup and Lorrie Kuny. Noah along with family (can you guess their names?) takes you on a journey that God commanded him to do. Such a cataclysmic event - for which no one really took him seriously! How could they survive while the water flooded the earth for one hundred and fifty days? You'll meet some zany characters like the Weatherman, the Lumberjack, and the Zookeeper (all of Noah's sons) who managed to offer their own "expertise" to help get the job done. Not to mention all those animals... two by two they came. Bring your nose plugs, an odor may appear as they were stuck in closed quarters for what seemed like an eternity! Finally, when the rain stopped and it was all said and done, God offered his covenant - a rainbow - a sign of everlasting love! Join us Saturday evening at 7:00 PM, November 17th and Sunday morning at 10:30 AM, November 18th for our first performances of this musical. The Rejoicing Rascals is open to all young members of Rehoboth from 1st grade and up. |
If you'd like to even make a more evening or day out of this performance, join us on Saturday evening for a Spaghetti dinner hosted by our Youth Group beginning at 5:00 PM. A free will offering will be taken to help our youth group defray costs of future Christian-based activities. And also offered before and after each of the performances, will be our Global Market. Here, items from around the world will be for sale. You'll find such things as baskets, handmade cards and stationary, chocolate, tea, coffee, glass items, jewelry, hand-crafted wooden items, handbags, Christmas ornaments, and much more, all creatively designed by Artisans from around the world. The Global Market buys directly from the crafters, thus, eliminating the "middle man". This ensures that the people making these beautiful crafts get a fair wage for their work. Celebrate these opportunities with us and also help support Lutheran World Relief.
