Rehoboth Evangelical Lutheran Church
an ELCA congregation

Women of the ELCA

All women of Rehoboth are invited at any time to join this organization which meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall. The women here at Rehoboth are very busy doing fundraisers for the needy, gathering food for the hungry, gathering needed items for our military, making quilts and layettes for Lutheran World Relief, cooking funeral dinners for family members, making college boxes for our college students, attending Synodical Cluster Events, praying for others, and hosting two annual banquets just to name a few. God gives each of us talents. Let us use our gifts to bring honor and glory to His holy name.

Women of the ELCA Mystery Basket

The Women of the ELCA are requesting the participation of all the cooks/bakers in the congregation.  This will be a fundraiser to refurbish the kitchen (i.e. stove, sink, cabinets, etc.).  Here is how the “Mystery Basket” comes into play.  In September, a sign-up sheet will be posted in the narthex at which time you can sign your name for a Sunday.  The “Mystery Basket” will be given to you and you will make or bake a food item for the basket.  You will bring the basket to church the following Sunday and give it to the person who signed up for that Sunday.  The person receiving the basket will decide the value of the item in the basket and place the monetary amount in the envelope in the basket.  They will then make/bake an item for the basket and bring it back to church the following Sunday and pass it on.  If you have any questions, please contact Norma Baker or any woman of the ELCA.
