Unfinished Business:
Council Members - 2010:
Carol Nicoletti and Gil Baker are not running for re-election. Looking for two new members.
Cemetery Committee
Les Kotouch, Royce Wilhelm and Don Musgrave are running again.
Benevolence
Pastor Eric Reimer and Tom Kuny reviewed how the ELCA’s Mission support dollars come back to SWPA Synod and the breakdown of the ELCA’s portion. The congregation will not be given a vote on how to designate our entire benevolence; instead each member of the congregation will have the choice to designate where their benevolence will go. They may choose status quo and their benevolence will be given to ELCA by just putting the amount on their weekly envelope. If they wish to designate their benevolence to the SWPA Synod only, they can note that on their weekly envelope. The third choice will be to bypass the ELCA and Synod by personally sending their money to the organization of their choice.
The benevolence of $16,320 will not be subsidized by monies from the general fund.
Building Finance Committee
Sam Goncz has agreed to chair the Finance Committee. There has been one volunteer from the congregation: Carol Verrico. Sam suggested asking the current Finance Committee members: Larry DuPont and Butch Zatchey. Tom Kuny will contact Larry DuPont, Butch Zatchey and Carol Verrico.
New Business
Live Nativity: Carol Nicoletti made a motion to confirm support of the Live Nativity. We will address any costs at the time they are presented. Seconded. Motion carried.
