Scott and Lori Shoup Instructors First Communion instruction for 5th graders takes place during Lent starting with the first Sunday following Ash Wednesday and continues each of the following Sundays until Maundy Thursday. First Communion instruction takes place during Sunday School (9:15 AM) and is taught by Scott and Lori Shoup in the sanctuary. A seder meal is typically prepared the Thursday evening of Holy Week (Maundy Thursday) and immediate family members are invited. 5th graders will proceed to take their First Communion during the evening worship service on Maundy Thursday.

First Communion Instruction
First Communion Students
Three students are taking communion instruction from Mrs. Lori Shoup during Lent in order to be eligible to take their first communion during the Maundy Thursday Service on April 1, 2010. They are: Nicole, Zoe, and Dennis, Jr.. They will share a traditional Seder Meal with their families prior to the service. Please keep these students in your prayers as they approach this milestone and continue on their spiritual journey. First Communion Students 2008
Eight students made their first communion during the Maundy Thursday Service on March 20, 2008. They were: Ben, Nicolle, Sara, Megan, Joshua, Alec, Katarina, and Carolyn. They shared a traditional Seder Meal with their families prior to the service. Please keep these students in your prayers as they continue on their spiritual journey.
